Hello,

I am Ayumi Koso, a science communication scholar and communications professional at the National Institutes of Genetics in Japan.

My primary research interests are institution-level science/research communication in Japan and Asia. I am also interested in the intersection of science and culture, especially how cultural contexts or the language used confine the science or research being communicated.

I am also committed to inspiring researchers and press officers to communicate science in English and have co-founded Japan SciCom Forum, a community for English-language science communication in Japan.
